Courtney Flanagan, MSc. PT

Courtney Flanagan is proudly from the Miramichi area, having been raised in Whitney along with her three siblings. She is a lover of the river and the outdoors, and can often be found near the water or playing sports such as softball, golf, or paddle boarding. After graduating from her Masters of Science degree in Physiotherapy at Dalhousie University, Courtney happily returned home to work at River Rehabilitation with the goal of improving the health and overall wellness of the people of Miramichi.

Courtney is now part owner of our three physiotherapy clinics and is always striving to improve the service, scope and accessibility of physiotherapy in our area. She does this by continuing to further her education by attending several courses each year, promoting overall health and well-being within the community, and helping her clients to achieve their functional goals.

Courtney is always eager to meet new clients and help them reach their full potential.

Jane Nastasiuk, PT

Jane Nastasiuk (nee Schenkels) has strong roots in the Miramichi area, having grown up in Red Bank, along with her 7 other siblings on a dairy farm. She is an avid lover of the outdoors and her active lifestyle involves numerous recreational activities, from gardening, hiking, cross country skiing and kayaking to name a few. After Graduating from Dalhousie University and working one year in Miramichi, Jane moved to Barrie, Ontario with her husband Joe. In 1998, they decided to return to make the Miramichi their home again. Jane and Joe have one daughter, Anika.

Jane has a strong belief in lifelong learning, which she not only demonstrates through the numerous courses she has taken and continues to take, but also in the way she instils this attitude in her clients. Her outstanding array of treatment methods coupled with the client’s education on how they too play an active role in their rehabilitation has shown tremendous results for the thousands of clients she has successfully treated over the years.

Jane looks forward to meeting new clients who demonstrate a challenging injury or condition, as this provides an opportunity for her to broaden her thinking and allows her to implement new and up-to-date techniques she has learned through her numerous and innovative continuing education programs.
